OPERA, THE OPERATING SYSTEM OF THE SHOP FLOOR
OPERA MES (Manufacturing Execution System) delivers real time information that enables the optimization of production activities from orders launch to finished goods. It is a complete, flexible and modular MES solution that covers four functional areas: Production, Material Management, Quality Control and Maintenance.
OPERA MES main task is to manage and monitor the factory in real time, through web-based workstations installed across the factory,to record all information regarding production progress, the efficiency of each department, work center, operator, the controls executed on the production line, traceability of lots, process data, maintenance activities, finite capacity scheduling, etc.
OPERA MES is an unique and complete MES platform that centralize all infromation of the production system in one single database. OPERA MES integrates any ERP system. The integration with ERP is an important aspect because it allows a bidirectional communication between the two systems. In the same way, OPERA MES can be integrated with SCADA, PLC, and automation systems for the automatic acquisition of data and the complete monitoring of processes.
